Laura Nowosad & Samuel Gregson are the founders of LEARN Network. Laura is a Canadian living in Germany with her small family. She holds a BSc in Psychology and obtained her PGCE in international education. Laura is trained in Special Education Needs and is passionate about inclusion and advocacy. Samuel, originally from England, now resides in Malaysia. He is holds degrees in Linguistics and Education and is passionate about Early Language Development. While working together in the same International School they saw the gap in parent and teacher expectations for children entering the Kindergarten. Some teachers would spend weeks or even months teaching basic skills to children that could have been learned at home. This skills gap slowed learning and could be disruptive to lessons and the class in general. The idea for Seedlings to Scholars was born in the desire to better support those children and their parents.
